Hello! My name is Kyra Ward and I am a 2024 Wheaton College (MA) Film and New Media Studies graduate. I have a passion for video editing and everything film and content related. I am an experienced creative with over 8 years with the Adobe suite and many years of storytelling. My creative style is unique; I am interested in mixed media and nontraditional film and video. I love a good challenge and project limitations such as time limits or no words. I also have a love for conventional films and narratives. Although I favor editing, I have experience in writing, directing, cinematography, sound, and lighting with my own films or for others.

I also have a passion for portrait photography I like making everyone feel beautiful and comfortable in their skin. I have 5 years of portrait photography extending back to my high school days but I re-found my passion in 2024. Some of my most recent photography projects include portraits that feature a fire prop. Most of my work has queer undertones and usually centers someone or something in the LGBT community.
